Just wanted to drop a line and let you all know I’m still around. I’ve decided to get back into my pixel graphics and have been busy trying to get it all organized so I can get it all back up on the site. Once I get that completed or maybe just once I need a break…lol…I’ll start adding the rest of the astrology pages to this site along with some of the old content before I start adding more. Well this really suxs, I redid this site 3 days ago and when I was trying to install wordpress onto my other site I messed this one up and ended up deleting this site, so I just spent the past 3 hours getting it all back up again. This time around I was smart enough to install a backup pluggin.
My plans for the rest of the night are to get working on the wordpress tutorial for creating themes from scratch. I originally wanted to create one for this site however I really like this free one I found and think now I will work on one for my other site Andrea’s Pixel Place.

Nope haven’t forgotten about this site yet….I kind of lost my way for a bit with the diet….thought I could do it alone…didn’t need to log food cause I had it all in my little pea brain….if you ever feel this way all I can say is give your head a shake….I had lost 8.9 lbs and ya I ended up gaining about 5 lbs of it back before I smartened up. I’ve about half of that so far.
I’ve boughten myself a new HRM which is awesome…the sites that help you track your calories are great if you don’t have anything else but if you do like a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) then you realize how far off they are. For example yesterday I went for a bike ride and according to Fitbit I should have recorded 187 calories burned, MapMyFitness says I should have burned 487 calories…my HRM 357. So although it’s ok to under count your calories I am a little OCD about it and have to know exactly where I am at…lol. I can’t wait to record how many calories I am actually burning when I cut the grass. According to most sites the average burn for cutting grass is 6 calories per minute….this doesn’t take into account all the hills I have to climb…rough land etc. When I’m cutting grass I’m huffing and puffing almost as much as my bike ride mentioned earlier only instead of the 20 mins for my bike ride it’s about 2 to 3 hours….yeah me!!!!
Well I’ve finished my coffee now so it’s bike riding time. =)
Well I’m still here. I bought myself a fitbit and it was one of the best buys I’ve ever made. It has kept me moving like nothing I have ever tried before. It was $100 Canadian with free delivery from Amazon and was here in one day.
I’ve worn it every day and find I am more active now than I have ever been before. I average about 600 to 1000 calories in exercise and have made it to 10,000 steps for the past 8 days. This is one product that gets my two thumbs up rating.
I use this in conjunction with Lose It! on my android phone and desktop. I use Lose It! to log all my food and fitbit to keep track of my calories. The dashboard in fitbit is kind of cool too. It gives you a basic summary of how your day is going. I’ve put an example below.
Well here I am again trying to get back on a diet. I desperately need it. I’m almost 100 lbs over weight. I can’t believe that I can barely bend over and tie my shoes. I have never been this bad. And yes I mean bad. Because this is terrible.
You know you are over weight when the people you used to consider to be over weight are now giving you clothes because they no longer fit in them. Yep that’s right I’m getting people’s fat clothes. That did it for me.
So today I ordered a Fitbit One and it should be here tomorrow or the next day. I had been using a body bugg that I had gotten years ago and it did work to keep me motivated but after a few days I ended up with a nasty rash on my arm. I tried moving it to different body parts but then I didn’t know if it was giving me accurate readings. Not to mention that you have to get a monthly membership to be able to get the readings.
I also got back on to Lose It and am using it to log my food. The best part is I love lose it for logging food and the Fitbit will sync with it so this was the best $100 I’ve spent in awhile.
So anyways I’m really hoping with all the new great friends I’ve met online that I will finally get the support I need to lose this horrible weight.
